Lasting News Journal

Editorial policy

Lasting News Journal aims to make its claims understandable and its limits visible. Practical suggestions are kept to ordinary, low-risk care; they are not a substitute for specialist help where that is needed.

Accuracy and clarity

We distinguish a general explanation from a recommendation and avoid presenting preference as fact. Material claims should be checked against suitable, identifiable sources before publication. If the available information is uncertain or does not support a firm answer, the wording should say so.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and fit with the publication, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Any material relationship that could affect how a piece is understood should be disclosed alongside that material.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the Contact page. We review specific, verifiable concerns and correct material errors clearly; a substantive change should not be hidden as a quiet wording tweak.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or collaborative content is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where an illustration is AI-generated, it should be identified as such.
